Popular

Create free QR codes for links, text, and more, then download a high-resolution PNG. Works in your browser — no sign-up, no watermark.

Create a QR code for any link, text, Wi-Fi password, phone number, or plain message in seconds. Everything is generated right in your browser, so your data is never uploaded, and you can download a crisp, high-resolution PNG to print or share.

How to use QR Code Generator

  1. Type or paste the URL or text you want to encode.
  2. Choose the size that fits where you'll use the code — larger for print, smaller for screens.
  3. Your QR code updates live. Click "Download PNG" to save it.

Who it is for

QR Code Generator is for turning a link into something a phone can scan: a menu, a business card, a poster, a Wi-Fi password, or a payment link. It is used by anyone who needs a code at print resolution without an account, and by people who would rather their link was not logged by someone else's generator.

How it works

  • The code is generated in the browser by a JavaScript QR library, so the content — a link, a password, plain text — is never sent anywhere.
  • The output is a high-resolution PNG, which is what a printed code needs to stay sharp at any size.
  • Wi-Fi and contact payloads use the standard encoding phones understand, so the scan offers to join the network or save the contact.

What it cannot do

  • The code is static: change the destination and every printed copy breaks, because static QR codes cannot be redirected.
  • There is no logo in the centre. Embedding one lowers the error-correction margin, which is why many generators that offer it produce codes that fail when slightly damaged.
  • A longer payload means a denser code, which is harder to scan from a distance or in poor light.
  • PNG only — no vector SVG export here.

Frequently asked questions

Do the QR codes expire?

No. The codes are static, so they encode your link or text directly and keep working forever — there is no redirect or account that could expire.

Can I use these QR codes commercially?

Yes. QR codes you generate are yours to use on products, flyers, business cards, packaging, or anywhere else, free of charge.

What size should I download for printing?

Choose the 512 × 512 px option — it is the largest size the generator offers, and a QR code is vector-like in the sense that it is made of hard-edged modules, so it stays scannable when scaled up. A good rule is at least 2 × 2 cm on the final printed piece for reliable scanning.

Is my data sent to a server?

No. The QR code is built entirely in your browser using JavaScript, so the text or URL you enter never leaves your device.
